Suhas Tuljapurkar

Suhas is a founder and Non Executive Director of Legasis Services Private Limited and Managing Partner of “Legasis Partners”, an all service law firm. He is first generation serial entrepreneurs with deep connections in the Indian corporate circles. In this capacity, Suhas supervises the legal operations globally and has a specialist experience in the fields of Infrastructure Projects, Corporate Laws, Joint Ventures, M & A, Energy/Power, Intellectual Property Laws, Litigation and Dispute Resolution. He emerges as business leader and has worked with multiple multinational companies that include HUL, Thermax, Essar Group, Blue Dart and Fiat. He has published various articles and writes for specialized publications. Suhas has built very strong reputation in successful execution and delivery in Indian and Global corporate. He is also invited to speak on various legal issues at national and international conventions. Suhas holds a degree in Law from ILS Law College, Pune and a MBA from IMDR Pune.

Ashok Malhotra

Ashok is the Director of Legasis with over 24 years of Management Experience, he served as Managing Director, Mettler-Toledo Indian from 2000 till May 2011, Ashok is an engineering graduate from Punjab Engineering College, Chandigarh and MBA from Faculty of Management Studies, Delhi. Ashok has done executive education from Kellogg Business School, Harvard Business and Insead Business School, Indian Institute of Management Ahmadabad and Calcutta. Ashok specializes in creation and management of high performance teams that deliver the company goals in short and long term by building strong internal processes & automation, operational execution excellence, expanding and increasing penetration of existing businesses, targeting growth opportunities and new businesses across all business areas. Developed and supervised successful execution of diverse strategies across all businesses; appropriately represented the interest of all internal stakeholders He worked in TATAs in the technology space for almost a decade. He built two midsized, highly profitable Swiss MNCs namely Ascom and Metter-Toledo India from scratch. Ashok also serves as President (Western Region) for Swiss Indian Chamber of Commerce, President of Mumbai Chapter for India Business School, and Hyderabad for Executive Education, highly networked at CXO level in India Corporate circles and Govt. organizations.

Arun Kulkarni

Arun is a Director of Legasis Services Pvt. Ltd. With over 35 years of experience in various organizations out of which 17 years at senior management level in strategy making and implementation, he is an asset to our organization. He adds value for risk analysis in legal and regulatory compliance projects. He has worked in house for various organizations, such as Blue Dart (DHL), L&T, Duphar Interfran Limited, Roche Products Limited, SDL Pharmaceuticals Ltd, Oman Group etc. Arun holds a degree in science from Mumbai University; a Diploma in Materials Management from Indian Institute of Materials Management.

Basil Almeida

Basil is the Chief Operating Officer of Legasis Services Pvt. Ltd. Basil has more than 15 years of experience in the legal field of which 10 years were with Geometric Limited (a Godrej & Boyce group company) where he served as General Counsel and was a part of the senior management team. He played a key role in the inorganic growth of the company and also led a business transformation program for achieving operational excellence at Geometric. Basil also served as a Director on the Board of 3DPLM Software Solutions Ltd. (a key subsidiary of Geometric). Basil specializes in applying law with a focus on achieving business goals, developing metrics to evaluate legal department performance and has a passion for driving business processes to manage legal risks. He occasionally speaks at seminars and has published an article on Legal Department Management in the Economic Times. Basil holds a Bachelor’s degree in Law and a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Mumbai University.
